WILDFLOWERS 2010 PART 3

I promised my dear friend bigsurkate that I would try to post at least twice a month. Back in the day when blogs were new to the net I posted every single day. Little did I realize what a luxury this was as I find that now I never have time to be out here.

So for those of you who still manage to visit my site with the few posts I do…I thank you.

And now for your viewing pleasure I present more Wildflowers from this years journeys.

Succulent in bloom Gorda Mountain

Different view of Gorda Mountain succulent - I have a thing for archways

Captured this hunny at Lake Naciemiento

Lupins on the Boronda Trail

That’s it for now. Have a happy & safe Memorial Day weekend.

  1. Oh, what an incredible shot of the bald eagle! You were very blessed, here. I know that yucca – and the blue on these lupines is so wonderful! I’m still working w/ my WB and sometimes just not happy!

Yeah, blogging can be quite time consuming, can’t it? I’m coming up on TWO years on 7/5. Haven’t figured out a special post for that, so if you have any ideas, let me know!

  2. That bald eagle shot is INCREDIBLE. I also love your shots of the succulents! Natural archways like that are so beautiful.

  3. [...] hold on, it doesn’t end here. You can see more wildflowers from bigsurwoman (Avis Latone) here: and XT has included some in his bicycle tour down the coast, over N-F Rd. and beyond [...]

  4. I sincerely hope that you’re getting a majority of these shots on to greeting cards, post cards, etc. and selling them in the gift store. The world deserves to see them!
